An exciting addition to the Aberfeldy range, the 16 year old gives dark chocolate flavours and more roundness to the whisky. Finished for 6 months in Oloroso sherry casks to layer fruitcake and dried fruit flavours, Stephanie Macleod describes this a a gentle kiss of sherry. There is still plenty of citrus and honey flavour coming from the careful way that we craft our whisky at Aberfeldy Distillery.
the 21 year is an incredible evolution of the Aberfeldy style, if you like our 12 year old, the extra time in cask imparts richer fudge and marmalade flavours alongside a silky smooth texture. A fine example of what makes older whisky special, this is a really memorable treat that everyone should experience.
